I was drawn to this boot for a few reasons: I liked the faded black/gun metal color, the side zipper, and the leather sole. I ordered in my true Brannock size (10.5 US) and the fit is spot-on for me. The leather was initially quite stiff, but after a few days of breaking them in, the leather has molded nicely to my feet and I enjoy wearing the boots very much. Having the zipper definitely makes putting them on a lot easier. They look great with slim fitting jeans and chinos. Minor critique is with the laces, which come loose/untied somewhat easily -- but a simple double knot fixes that in an instant. Overall, I am very pleased and I would recommend the Drew model.
