I purchased these on eBay and never heard of W&G before. I'm used to spending $300-500 on boots so my expectation for these wasn't high. I was very pleasantly surprised when I received them. They fit true to size, the leather is high quality and they look more expensive than a sub $200 boot. The soles have excellent traction and the cognac color really pops. Stitching and finishing is on par with pricier brands. They were immediately comfortable for me and required minimal break-in. I would rather have one in each color than a single pair of Aldens. These are the best value boots you can buy. I highly recommend.

These boots fit perfectly (size 8.5) and are exactly what I was looking for. Comfortable out of the box with minimal break in time. They can be dressed up or down and the mini lug sole is great for all weather.
